crwipe (“we,” “us”) operates the website at https://crwipe.xyz. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Files you upload

When you upload an image, it is written to a temporary directory on the server, processed (JUMBF / C2PA metadata is removed), streamed back to you, and deleted immediately after the download completes. We do not store, inspect, or share your files beyond what is needed to perform the clean.

2. Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use crwipe. GA4 sets cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) only after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no tracking occurs.

3. Data we do not collect

No accounts, emails, passwords, or personal identifiers.
No payment information (the tool is free).
No IP-address logging beyond what the hosting provider retains.

4. Data retention

Uploaded files: zero retention — deleted on response finish.
Analytics: retained per Google Analytics default settings (14 months).

5. Your rights

Under GDPR and similar laws, you may request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Since we collect almost none, there is typically nothing to delete. For analytics, you can decline cookies, reopen Cookie preferences in the footer to withdraw consent, or use a browser extension to opt out of Google Analytics.

6. Children

crwipe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
