crwipe is a free web tool that removes C2PA / JUMBF (Content Credentials) metadata from PNG, JPEG, and WebP images. The service is provided as a convenience for creators.

2. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that all C2PA metadata will be removed, that the service will be available at all times, or that cleaned files will behave identically on every platform.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the images you upload. We claim no ownership or license over your files. Uploaded images are processed in memory and deleted immediately — we never store, view, or distribute your content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal or infringes on others’ rights.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the service with automated tools.
• Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable law.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, crwipe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

6. Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue crwipe at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such changes.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of crwipe after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
